Hot-melt adhesive is a widely used type of adhesive.

Hot-melt adhesive pellets are widely used for bonding packaging materials. Currently, there are four main types: PA hot-melt adhesive pellets, TPU hot-melt adhesive pellets, EVA hot-melt adhesive pellets, and PES hot-melt adhesive pellets. They are shaped like a round plastic tube; when in use, they are inserted into a hot-melt glue gun, heated electrically for a short time, and then the adhesive flows out.

Release-type hot-melt adhesive films can also be referred to as base-material hot-melt adhesive films, with the base material comprising release paper and release film. These base-material release hot-melt adhesive films are primarily used in applications that require secondary lamination to complete the final product.

It is also known as a light film, with an appearance resembling a layer of plastic film. Based on material type, it can be classified into five categories: PA hot-melt adhesive film, PES hot-melt adhesive film, EVA hot-melt adhesive film, TPU hot-melt adhesive film, and EAA hot-melt adhesive film.
